Every truck has three different plants that it is associated with:

  • Home Plant
The home-base plant for the truck. Each time Beginning of Day is run the Current Plant will be reset to this plant.
  • Current Plant
The plant that the truck is currently assigned to. The next load shipped will originate from this plant.
  • Return Plant
The plant that the truck will return to. The next load returned will return to this plant.

Scenario: Plant 1 is going to borrow a truck from Plant 2 for an extended period of time.

Shipping from an Alternate Plant

Scenario: A truck is going to ship from Plant 2 an order from Plant 1.

Procedure: Drag the truck from the Plant 2 available trucks list to the Plant 1 order.
