Consolidated List of Issues from Installs

American

  1. Consolidate Dispatch Ticket printing/EOD functions in normal ticketing….rather than have two ticketing programs on screen. Regular ticketing handles everything they need whether Concrete plant or POS plant as long as the plant id is right….
  2. Print Demand Graph didn’t do anything when I tried it on latest version. FIXED.
  3. Cross shipping orders with trucks with different home plant….if they forget to assign the truck first to new plant it prints out of the current plant…i.e truck is in plant 02 yard and you ship to plant 01…it prints to plant 02 ULINK…this is correct but dispatchers get no notice of it….I explained to them to assign truck to other yard first and that works….just wanted to open up for discussion. DISCUSS. Also training issue.
  4. Perhaps copy order should ask if they want to delete old order OR have an option to change customer id on order….issue was showing them a “quick” way to change customer on order by simply doing a COPY, but he forgot to delete old order and looked like they were to ship 2 orders instead of one…the safer option is just to allow a CHANGE CUSTOMER function in my opinion. DISCUSS.
  5. Stop customer from saving 0 quantity orders as well as keeping them out of the QTY DELIVERED field, if they manipulate this field manually it messes a lot of things up. FIXED.
  6. Standardize menu in Dispatch….add plants, trucks, drivers…is the main 3 I can think of… FIXED 2.0.6.
  7. Second request to make schedule screen easier to ready (Twin Cities and American) maybe make the lines double wide at all times similar to when there is two trucks in same status it stacks them and makes order line bigger. In near future release you will be able to enlarge cell height 50%. -- THEMES ADDED.
  8. Second request for WILL CALLS to be different color instead of just a Y,N flag. FIXED 2.0.6.
  9. I can still duplicate some issues on load rescheduling…..
    1. Added order for 100 yds, went back into order and changed mix code and saved…..order saved with 0 quantity, however the schedule still said 100 yds Can not save 0 Qty order FIXED.
    2. 50 yd order, shipped 5 loads of 10……voided middle load out and it dropped from 50 shipped to 40 shipped which is correct….then I went to order and dropped the quantity to 40 shipped and it changed the order, added an event to the order, but never rescheduled load records….so screen still showed 50…. Checked in current version and cannot duplicate.

Twin Cities List

  1. Will Call orders be in different color…the flag isn’t as noticeable as expected. FIXED.
  2. Want option to double space orders (meaning wide bar as if two trucks in same status) for their viewing pleasure…screen pretty hard to read with single line orders. In near future release you will be able to enlarge cell height 50%.
  3. Need some kind of error pop up for central dispatch when their ulink fails at remote plant…..they sent ticket to plant 08, never knew it didn’t go over, nobody got concrete…. FUTURE
  4. Weird issue with occasionally typing in a product code and hitting enter and no description or unit of measure shows up….close out of schedule screen and come back and it works fine…we cannot re-create this, but I saw it happen several times. FIXED.
  5. They had accidentally voided a ticket after it was batched, wanted to un-void ticket through ticket maintenance, however it didn’t go back and update totals on order, it simply unchecked the VOID box on ticket. DONE 1.8.36 FIXED.
  6. Saw several times when the system let them change qty ordered but didn’t reschedule load record….again, nobody got concrete cause the sched screen was different from the order maint screen…fyi…..saw event that said…changing quantity from 50 to 50…?????? instead of from 50 to 54…(showed craig example) FIXED.
  7. Wants to easily control truck capacity in truck demand graph as opposed statusing or inactivating all their fleet that didn’t come in that day….maybe have it prompt to type in how many trucks are active that day.. DISCUSS, Review way D1 did this.
  8. Weird issue when they ticket load the order time doesn’t calculate…possibly only happens with last load shipped…but saw them ticket at 16:00 and order time changed to 14:30 BY ORDER TIME, DO YOU MEAN NEXT LOAD TIME?
    1. No, it was Order time I thought happened in front of my eyes, however I tested in 1.8.35 and cannot duplicate…so ignore this for now
  9. They sometimes forget to type in an ordered quantity, system lets them save and never comes up on screen….dispatcher doesn’t know the order has been taken….perhaps some error checking on 0 quantity order. FIXED

Schmitz

  1. Invoice # needs to be indexed to Job ID and Address
    1. We have accounts that use a common job ID but the delivery address changes which should cause a different invoice no. FIXED.
  2. Quote system
    1. Need the form that’s sent to customer Installed, waiting on feedback.
  3. Job price
    1. Job ID needs more characters and doesn’t allow (‘) to be used
  4. Next load time, only takes into account travel time to job – doesn’t factor in load minute and wash up min FIXED.
  5. Quantity shipped: multiple load orders – Quantity shipped shows wrong quantity – usually less than shipped here but is right in order maintenance – this also happens if you change or modify quantity ordered. FIXED.
  6. Edit of a ticket every other time, it errors.
  7. Plant setting – once setup should be a default for each plant. FIXED.
  8. Copy order FIXED? – It was doubling products on copied order not original. FIXED.
  9. Truck demand graph:
    1. Old system allowed us to go to a given date and check plants
      1. Now very hard to check different dates FIXED.
    2. Need trucks available for future dates
      1. i.e. Saturday only half the trucks are available DISCUSS, Review way D1 did this.
    3. Working but too many steps as far as what plant has open trucks (graph colors all same – different color for each plant?) when graph includes all plants. FIXED.
  10. C.OD.’s wasn’t or isn’t carrying total (price) over on multiple load and have to go past last product entered on order to see total.
  11. Truck status (in yard I retuning R) is corrupt it happened after update 3-20, remote plants: Port, West, Etc. experiencing printing problems, product description not showing up at times but product code is correct. FIXED.
    1. Reprint: can we use? Example if have to hand write for any reason, when we lose computer connections FIXED
    2. Recalculate loads: what is it for? IS DOESN’T WORK FIXED, Training issue.
    3. Cement Type – Calc %, City Fields. DISCUSS.
    4. Usage type: Cant put new one in Keystone – have to go to dispatch order ticket FIXED, Training issue.
    5. Products (making ticket) put 1 letter in – Exp…F go to F-4 for search
    6. Have to re-type f- shouldn’t it be in search for box?

Example: put total of product in (Fiber mesh) then ticket truck and you have to put quantity back in. Product setup issue. FIXED.

  1. Supply / material
    1. Not using due to issues with inventory
    2. Can’t make a ticket and hold until needed or transferred to a different yard. Will need to use Order Maint for this.

???? ISSUE - MAKING DISPATCH END OF DAY STAND ALONE WITHOUT ACCOUNTING

  1. Could you put a “price group” 10 in any blank price group.
  2. Job ID & Quote ID have only 18 characters need 36
  3. Job price – how do you remove a product that shouldn’t be there? CTRL+DEL on product -- Training.
  4. When writing a order
    1. Address should be right of customer name or in area where contact info is and be four lines
    2. City needs to be a pick
    3. Cement should be a pick and have a default cement
  5. Quotes
    1. More than one form
      1. Could be changed by us
      2. add information or remove wording
      3. add terms
    2. In product area
      1. Allow general typing without picking a product.
      2. Example “ 3000 PSI” or sealer 309
      3. Any product that’s not stocked.
    3. Notes tab should print on quote form
    4. In general look at FileMaker
      1. Look ups are very easy
      2. by contractor
        1. by job
        2. by special product not stocked
        3. night pour charge

Tanis/Service List

  1. Would like ability to change font, size and color scheme - possibly in saved profiles.THEMES ADDED.
  2. Please add QTY REMAINING field to Schedule screen. FIXED.
  3. Would like ability to set defaults for:
    1. SLUMP
    2. TAX AUTHORITY
    3. PLUS ORDER
    4. WILL CALL
    5. ROLL FWD
  4. Would like preferences to be stored by customer:
    1. PRICE TICKET
    2. PRINT WEIGHTS - meaningless currently, but will matter in the future (eg: DOT jobs, etc.)
  5. Would like ability to store preferred mixes (by strength class) for each customer.
  6. Please widen PRODUCT ID field in Order Maintenance.
